Description

Data of biological shapes are becoming increasingly available and diverse: from proteins structures to medical images, including growing organisms. Studying such data requires an interdisciplinary approach covering mathematics, computer sciences and biology. The goal of this workshop is to gather researchers with various backgrounds to discuss new challenges in the comprehension of biological shapes and the possible input of recent advances in shape analysis.

Registration

Registration is free but mandatory. Please register before October 20.

Young researchers (born after 01/01/1987) may benefit from funding to cover transportation and accomodation expenses, please register before October 13 for it.

Venue

From Thursday, November 21 to Friday November 22.

Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions, Sorbonne Université, 4 place Jussieu, Paris.

Room 15-16.309 (corridor 15-16, floor 3).

Information

A welcome cocktail will take place at Tour Zamansky (Jussieu) on Thursday, November 21, at 6 pm. Registration is free but mandatory.

The workshop will end at 12.30 on Friday, November 22.
